Combat Camera : Horn of Africa
SSgt. Corban Lundborg serves in the Air Force Reserve as a Combat Photojournalist, assigned to the 4th Combat Camera Squadron. Corban was deployed with a team to East Africa for 8-months to document combat operations, training and historical events happening around the continent. 
The combat camera team's success was felt around the world. The team's work was recognized with dozens of awards from within and outside the military. They covered a humanitarian crisis, combat operations and civil affairs missions across the continent. The releasable imagery was viewed by millions. The imagery enhanced partner nation capacity, promoted regional stability and documented historic events. 
Pictured above is SSgt. Lundborg in East Africa on assignment. When not in uniform, Corban lives in Los Angeles and works as a fine artist and creative director. Corban works to incorporate his creative eye and love for storytelling into military documentation.
